STEMVERSE Robotics

A problem-based learning experience where learners understand the basic concepts of robotics and apply them in simulated missions to address real-life problems.

STEMVERSE Science

A scientific and technological experience mixed with a fun and entertaining learning curriculum. Students will learn through interactive, hands-on, and engaging project-based activities, enriching their knowledge and skills.

STEMVERSE IoT & AI

An experience to go beyond limitations where learners use Artificial Intelligence to perform tasks that were believed to be only possible in a sci-fi world. Learners will understand the basic concepts of A.I and apply them in simulated missions to address real-life problems in a problem-based entertaining experience.

About STEMVERSE

STEMVERSE is an integrated learning platform in the STEM fields over the MENA region. It's the Educational arm of GIE in partnership with many international, academic, industrial and governmental partners working together to provide learners with a full learning experience and a whole learning atmosphere.

The Academy aims to enhance scientific literacy and interest of the youth towards the fields of science, technology, engineering & Math (STEM), also to attract pre-university students to Increase the interest and technical experience of them in robotics fields and motivate them to participate in top robotics competitions. And through Training Of Trainers, the academy aspires to build a community of world-class mentors and coaches in underwater and ground robotics tracks.

Promoting Positive Attitudes towards STEM

Many students lose interest in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics subjects from an early age, only 30% of students in Egypt choose to pursue STEM studies in High School, leading to an even lower percentage of students pursuing STEM at the university level.

Raising STEM Literate Citizens

As defined by National Research Council (2011), STEM Literacy is "the knowledge and understanding of scientific and mathematical concepts and processes required for personal decision making, participation in civic and cultural affairs, and economic productivity for all students'.

Preparing for Future Job Market

According to a report by the World Economic Forum (2016), 65% of students who are attending primary school this year will be employed in totaly new types of jobs that don't exist yet. it IS not realistic to prepare students for certain types of jobs that may or may not be there in the near future.

WHY

STEM Education?

STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.

Student's learning experience should be structured around projects where they workf towards an end goal or; applicatior ina real context which requires them tc learn and utilize knowledge from two or more STEM disciplines.

Such tools take the knowledge and skills which were once an expert territory (such as programming, a robotics, and artificial intelligence) and make them accessible to young students, bringing educational value to the classroom.

Implement

an inclusive Program
in contrast to selective STEM education programs (which have admissions criteria), an inclusive program would serve a broader and diverse population of students. opening a safe space for exploring interests and promoting positive perceptions towards STEM.
